The current ILB is organized into three standing committees. The Audit Committee provides oversight of the curriculum, the ABET process, and the quality of the educational program. The Strategic Planning Committee provides business and strategic planning for the department, interfaces with alumni and provides leadership in marketing and public relations. The Institute for Mineral Resources Committee is the stakeholder committee to steer the IMR.
