Industry Leadership Board
The current ILB is organized into three standing committees. The Audit Committee provides oversight of the curriculum, the ABET process, and the quality of the educational program. The Strategic Planning Committee provides business and strategic planning for the department. The External Relations Committee interfaces with alumni and provides leadership in marketing and public relations. Read more about the Industry leadership Board.
Distinguished Alumni Lectures and Awards
Every year the MGE department invites one of it's distinguished alumni to present a lecture to the department, friends and colleagues. We are please to present a list of the current and previous winners of the distinguished alumni award.
SX Mine
The San Xavier (SX) mine is one of only a few student run, teaching and research mines in the counry. It is the only one with a vertical shaft. Although The mine is partly self sustaining with revenues from it's use as a training facility, the remainder of the operating costs are covered by generous donations from companies and individuals.
