Job Board News
1/2/2007 - Major updates to the job board! Thank you all for your patience as the MGE Job Board functionality has been completed. We have now implemented nearly all of our planned features. Here are some of the latest improvements (login to use them):
- Job Seekers and prospective employers can now update their own profiles, and change their password if desired.
- Employers can view and download resumes of job seekers
- Employers can view their active job/internship postings and edit them, as well as view statistics on their number of hits.
- Job seekers can upload their resume in PDF or Word (DOC) format to allow employers to download it as well as view their profile online. As stated in the job board policies, if job seekers wish to remain anonymous, they can simply refrain from uploading a resume.
- Employers can attach a PDF or Word (DOC) file to each job posting, ideal for posting a short company brochure or job description.
