Scholarships

Submit a scholarship application and email it to the department by May 20. Make sure you name is on all files submitted.

Computers

The mining faculty require students to have a laptop that they can bring to their mining engineering classes by their sophomore year.

Curricula - What Classes to Take

Check UA Catalog for major and minor requirements.

Geological Engineering is now the Geomechanics Track in Mining Engineering. This track provides the same professional preparation as the previous GEN degree, especially if you minor in Geoscience or Hydrology.
